Meridian Energy specialises in trading crude oil, oil products, petrochemicals, LPG, LNG and biofuels. Our capabilities include origination, operations, chartering, blending, financing, hedging and risk management.

2020
Meridian Energy was founded
Meridian Energy was founded to bring value to stakeholders and concluded its first crude oil deal.
2022
First IFAD cargo and US$1 billion turnover
Meridian lifted its first crude oil cargo from ICE Futures Abu Dhabi and achieved US$1 billion in turnover within the financial year.
2024
Expanded regional supply
Meridian delivered its first fuel oil supply to Cambodia and was awarded a three-year diesel supply contract in Timor-Leste.
2025
Broader downstream capabilities
Meridian executed its first paraxylene supply to China and launched LSFO blending capability, strengthening its petrochemicals and downstream operations.
2026
Diversified growth and digital innovation
Meridian is pursuing new commercial and sustainable trading opportunities, investing in people, and responsibly integrating artificial intelligence into selected business functions.
